The Los Angeles Clippers today acquired forward Marcus Camby from the Denver Nuggets. In return, Denver will have the option to exchange second round picks with the Clippers in 2010.

What the hell is Denver thinking? The only player on their team that plays defense is now gone for a 2nd round pick. I'm guessing the Nuggets have no desire to ever get out of the 1st round. This makes them worse in a conference that continues to get better. Maybe Denver has a big trade up their sleeve.

As for the Clippers, Camby gives them a defensive presence down low and a solid rebounder to help out Chris Kaman. L.A. is currently courting Josh Smith and Luol Deng. If they are able to land one of those small forwards they will be a force to be reckoned with in the west.
